About

The AI Duet is a publication, podcast, and services studio focused on Chinese AI companies going global. Based in Singapore — at the crossroads of China and the rest of the world — it captures the stories, strategies, and hard-won lessons of founders navigating the space between two ecosystems.

The name reflects what this work is: a duet between two worlds. Chinese founders building for global markets. Local ecosystems adapting to new players. The conversation between what works in China and what works everywhere else.

Who's behind this

I'm Ellen — an entrepreneur, writer, and connector based in Singapore. My work sits at the intersection of AI, go-to-market strategy, and the China–global corridor.

I run Flos (AI GTM consulting and marketplace), co-run Semmering (investment banking advisory for AI startups), and produce 离线时间, a Chinese-language podcast featuring in-depth conversations with AI founders building globally.

Previously, I ran a USD-denominated VC fund in Beijing, was an early TEDx China ambassador, and studied International Relations and Economics at Peking University. I've spent a decade watching Chinese technology companies figure out how to go global — The AI Duet is where I share what I've learned.
